Hello fellow buck skinners, it is my sincere pleasure to serve the Fort Buenaventura Mountain Men as secretary. I have raised three boys and now am pleased to follow my own interests on a level I’ve had little time for in the past. Backpacking and hiking in the mountains with my fishing gear has always been at the top of my favorites list. “Going back in time” with primitive skills has made those moments even more dear to me. I appreciate the opportunity to do my part in making our vision a reality. I pledge to do all I can to put “organize” in the organization of so many wonderful individuals banded together by a passion for history and sharing of knowledge. The only way to preserve that knowledge and the skills of the past is to learn, teach and practice them. I am proud to be able to participate in all three of these areas with such dedicated and practiced men and women. I am most excited to see the little ones, preteens and young adults join in the fun and get them started on the right path. It’s so much fun to see all the families grow and learn together. Please come and join us, there is always another spot by the fire and we all want you to share your knowledge with us, bring your own mug!
See you on the edge,
